I really like your question about abolishing the death penalty. You will be able to find several sources because it is a very controversial topic. I think it is also a very interesting subject to research.
I'd go with either your 2nd or 3rd topic, i think both are very relevant to our society today and i'm pretty confident you could find quality sources on both subjects.
I think you should do the third one. The first one might be hrad to do because your going to have to deal with the religion aspect of things.
What the heck? I was gonna say to go with the prayer topic, but nobody else seems to like it. LAME!

You are always safe with the abolishment of the death penalty. I did the death penalty for my synthesis paper, and there is tons of information out there. Sorting through it and finding reliable sources is hard since there is so much information, but there are many opinions on such a controversial topic such as the death penalty!
I would personally go with the third one also. It's a very controversiol topic and it is going to be easy to find some arguements extremely for it and against it by using past examples of people who went through it. The second topic is also good, however it's not as big in the media now and I don't think you'll be able to get a lot of different perspectives towards it
the 2nd!
ahh which one! there's so many different opinions!
I really like all of your topics. I will be interested to hear where you stand on these issues and how you support them. I think all of these issues are very relevant to this class, not a purely acedemic audience.
Yeah I agree with Anthony, go with the prayer topic.
